Under the MoU signed by our Institute with the Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), a guest lecture was organized by the Research Cell, NKPSIMS & RC and LMH, Nagpur on 28^thSept 2021. The guest faculties spoke about the prospects for Biomedical Research.

The guest faculty for the Lecture, Dr JayuKalambe, M.Tech, PhD, Associate Professor and Research Head, Dept of Electronics Engineering, RCOEM shared the details about the ongoing and completed research at their institute. Her expertise being instrumentation and automation in Biomedical Research, several ideas related to the field were discussed during the interactive session. The next speaker Dr.Richa Khandelwal, M.Tech, PhD is Associate Professor at the Dept of Electronics Engineering, RCOEM and is specialized in image processing for medical applications. She described the various image-based apps used in the medical field and their applicability for improving healthcare. She also demonstrated an ongoing project using image processing for developing an indigenous and portable CT scan model. Our third speaker, Dr. Abhijeet Thakre, ME, PhD is an AI/ML specialist with extensive research experience in the Natural Language Processing. He discussed several research opportunities in the AI/ML domain for developing predictive analytics for decision-making in healthcare. It was followed by an interactive Q & session where the delegates discussed several new collaborative research ideas.
