Visit for Measures to be taken to upgrade Haemphilia Treatment Centre Nagpur to an IHTC Nagpur

The visit was planned to NKPSIMS and RC and HTC Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Nagpur for developing the center into an IHTC matching the standards of KEM Hospital, Parel, Mumbai. HFI Team, Respected Doctors & Active members of the Nagpur Chapter i.e Mr. Premroop Alva (President, HFI), Mr. Ramu Gadkar (VP Development),Mr. Harshal Kale (Regional Manager East Asia and South Asia, WFH),Dr. Bipin Kulkarni (ICMR, KEM Hospital), Dr. Amit, Dr. Ayushree Deshmukh, Dr. VP Dandge,Dr. Kajal Mitra, Dr Madhur Gupta, Dr. Anju Mehrotra Kadu , Dr. Rajkumar Rathi, Dr. Abhinav Fadnis were present. The visit started with a visit to NKPSIMS & RC and LMH. The team visited the lab, blood bank, OPD section, ICU, and OT complex. And Library Visit. The team visited the place where the Humanitarian products were stored and also saw the records. It was followed by a presentation on the Twining program by Mr. Harshal Kale. Dr. Anju Mehrotra Kadu elaborated on the present status of care and future needs for PWH in the Vidhabha area. Final comments and experience were shared by Dr. Vipin and Dr. Amit. This IHTC once developed will be of great help to nearby states too.
