National Blood donation 1^st Oct is celebrated in India every year to share the need

 and significance of  blood in the  life of a person  and to raise  awareness   about need for regular blood donation. The theme this year was “GIVE BLOOD AND KEEP THE WORLD BEATING.”

        Lata   Mangeshkar  Hospital Blood Centre arranged  Poster and Slogan  Competition  and Voluntary  Blood  Donation  Camp on this occasion for  the students & staff of the  VSPM Physiotherapy College. Trophy was given to 1^st and 2^nd winner of the poster and slogan competition. Dr. Abhijit  Deshmukh  was the 1^st  and Dr. Simran Chimani     was the 2^nd winner of the  Slogan  Competition. Ms. Kushi  Chaurasiya was the  1^st winner and    Ms. Sejal Jaiswal was the 2^nd winner of the Poster Competition.

       Total  24 Donor’s donated blood for the noble cause. Donors were felicitated with a T-shirt, Voluntary Donor certificates, donor cards and pens. Dr Bhelkar extended a vote of thanks.
