The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital Digdoh Hills Hingna , Nagpur had organized an awareness and educational programme for staff nurses , social workers ,PG students and clerical staff, on the occasion of “Menopause Awareness Month on 26/10/2021, Tuesday  2 – 4 pm at Hall E.

The inaugural was made in the gracious presence of Dean, HOD Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Senior faculties from various departments. As a part of this Event ,Panel Discussion onMenopause and its different aspects was organised and senior faculties Dr Neelina Saoji (Medicine) , Dr Abhijeet Kawalkar (Orthopedics) , Dr Kirti Meshram(Skin), Dr Abhijeet Faye (Psychiatry )  Dr Savita Somalwar (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)were present as panelist. It was followed by Syndicate Seminar by Postgraduate students of our department for UG students and interns on topics Symptomatology of Menopause, Menopausal Hormonal Therapy, Menopausal transition, Osteoporosis after Menopause.

The program was well conducted and coordinated by Dr.Sheela Jain , Dr.Sharvari Lothe ( Senior Resident) , Dr Snehal Naphde ( Senior Resident ) under the able guidance of Dr. Sulabha Joshi (Prof &  HOD) and Dr. Anuja Bhalerao (Prof.HOD ).
