MET Unit and UG cell organized a online academic web series for first MBBS students of 2020 batch on 07/01/2022 from 2pm-4pm using the Google meet platform. The topic was Thyroid.

The webinar started with an introduction by Dr. Anne Wilkinson, Associate Professor, Pathology.

This was followed by inputs from Dr. Anant Fulse Assistant Professor of Anatomy on Gross Anatomy & Histology of Thyroid. Next was a session by Dr. Rakhee Ambade Associate Professor, Physiology on thyroid hormone physiology followed by Dr. Smita Pakhmode Associate Professor, Biochemistry who spoke on Biochemical tests in diagnosis. The final session of the webinar was by Dr. Shilpa Hajare Assistant Professor, Community Medicine on Prevention & Control of thyroid disorders.

The question-answer session and vote of thanks was conducted Dr Madhur Gupta, Director & Chairperson MET Unit.  56 students from I MBBS 2020 batch participated in this webinar.

The participants were given a pretest, posttest and feedback for the program.
