Report of Faculty Development Program for “Implementation of Skill Certification as per CBME”

 Medical Education Technology Unit of NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Nagpur conducted a 8 Days course On “Implementation of skill certification as per CBME” for the teaching faculty. The course was conducted in blended mode with Online discussion from 20th February to 27th February 2023 followed by One day On site workshop on 28th February 2023.

 The program was conducted under the guidance of acting Dean Dr Nitin Deosthale, Director MEU Dr. Madhur Gupta and Secretary MEU Dr. Anne Wilkinson. Dr Prachi Dixit, Associate Professor, Obstetrics & Gynecology & MEU Faculty was the facilitator for the workshop where small tasks were given daily to the participants and follow up was recorded. Twenty Six teaching faculties participated in the workshop and benefited the departments by developing standard skill modules as per the NMC requirements for their respective subjects. The feedback received for the workshop was encouraging and need of more such workshops was emphasized.
