Medical education Technology unit of NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital organised a guest lecture on “Self directed learning”. The speaker for this lecture was Dr Subodh Gupta, Professor and Head Department of community medicine, MGIMS, Sevagram.The program was attended by 71 teachers of NKPSIMS. Dr Madhur Gupta, Director, Medical Education Technology welcomed the speaker and audience.Dr Sushil Gawande introduced the speaker. Dr Subodh Gupta started the session by telling about his childhood experiences of self directed learning. He interacted with the audience. Dr Kajal Mitra, Dr Charuta Gadkari & Dr Smita Pakhmode talked about their experiences of self directed learning.
Dr. Gupta clarified the perceptions of teachers regarding self-directed learning. He answered all the questions of the participants.
