In view of increasing numbers of omicron COVID 19 cases in Nagpur, Guest Lecture on COVID 19 Omicron update was organised by dept. of General Medicine from 1.30pm to 2.30pm in harmony hall On 12^th January, Wednesday. Dr. Ashwini Tayade, Infectious disease specialist spoke in detail about upcoming third wave of COVID – 19 and the omicron variant. She explained about the various diagnostic techniques and also the updated treatment guidelines of COVID – 19. Lecture was well attended by 36 participated from General Medicine & Respiratory Medicine. COVID appropriate behavior was followed at the venue this will be helpful for the management of COVID cases in future.
