Dr Kajal Mitra, Dean NKP Salve Institute of Medical Science & Research Centre & Lata Mangeshkar Hospital Nagpur in his address to 2021 batch I MBBS Students said that to be successful one has to nurture his/her passion and then subsequently form a strategy to implement the same. He said long term goals are important and to reach that one must have formulated short term goals. Regular studies, sincere and committed efforts towards the challenging years ahead will only lead to success, he said. He also reminded them that the pattern of teaching and learning will see a sea of change in this professional program and will need a paradigm shift in the thinking process from teacher centered to student centered. The HOD`s of Anatomy Dr. Deepali Onkar, Physiology Dr Manish Sawane, Biochemistry Dr Madhur Gupta and Community medicine Dr. Ajeet Saoji welcomed the first MBBS students. Second year student Miss. Jhanvi Randive & Miss. Shreya Bhansali (MBBS 2020 batch) gave their inputs on academic & extracurricular activities. Dr Vilas Thombare, Vice Dean informed about anti ragging measures taken by the institute. Dr. Mohana Majumdar Director IQAC, elaborated about the various opportunities for undergraduate students in the institute. The students took the blessings of their parents before entering this profession and Dr Kajal Mitra Dean gave them an oath before entering this noble profession.
