Internal Quality Assurance Cell conducted a Faculty Development Program on Artificial Intelligence on 11 March 2023, at Inspire Hall, under the guidance of Dean Dr. Kajal Mitra. A full day training program was organised for the faculty of NKPSIMS &RC and LMH. Pre-test and post-tests sessions were conducted. Dr. Mohana Majumdar, Director IQAC welcomed the delegates and introduced the topic. Dr Nitin Deosthale, Vice Dean, appreciated the efforts taken by IQAC for organising the event. The faculty were Dr Achamma Thomas Varghese, Ex-HOD, Artificial Intelligence, GHRCE and Dr. Prashant Onkar, Prof., Department of Radiology. Both the faculty shared their knowledge about AI and its utilities and disadvantages, for medical science. Dr. Varghese also discussed about the functioning of AI. This was followed by a Question & Answer session.  Dr. Pragati Karmarkar, Associate Professor, Dept. of Pathology and Dr. Pradeep Pazare, Associate Professor, Dept. of Paediatrics, chaired the sessions.

76 participants benefitted from the program. Dr Trupti Dongre was the MOC. Dr Arti Kasulkar, Member Secretary, IQAC presented the vote of thanks. All the members of IQAC worked hard for the success of the program.
