Topic: Feet are your Foundation

Medical Education Technology Unit of NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital organised a guest lecture on “7^th October 2022 on “Feet are your Foundation”.

Dr. Sadanand Thote, Managing Director of Saket Ortho Rehab International Private Limited. delivered the lecture he highlighted the importance of paying attention to our feet and any changes noticed there should be taken care of, as they reflect changes related to our whole body. He spoke on simple exercises and footwear correction for planter fasciitis, diabetes mellitus and other common ailments he also enlightened the audience about Foot Scan.

 Dr. H. T. Kanade Prof. & Head, Dept. of Forensic Medicine, felicitated Dr. Thote with a memento in the presence of  Dr. Madhur Gupta, Director MET. Dr. Anne Wilkinson, Secretary MET thanked the Dean Dr. Kajal Mitra for encouraging us to hold the lecture. 29 staff members attended the lecture.
