REPORT OF CATHLAB INAUGURATION

On 4^th of May 2022, state of theart Cath lab was inaugurated in NKPSIMS & RC and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital at the hands of Honorable Chairman Shri RanjeetbabuDeshmukh,HonourableWorking Chairman Shri Ashish Deshmukh, renowned Cardiologist of the city, Dr.Prashant Jagtap, renowned Cardiothoracic Surgeon Dr. Satish Das  &Respected Dean Dr.KajalMitra.

Dr.Hitendra Bhagawatkar, International Cardiologist & Dr.Ashish Ambhore, InterventionalRadiologist are Directors of the Cath Lab & they will be providing their full time services for Cardiology & Interventional Radiology.

With the opening of this centre, Interventional Cardiology services like Coronary Angiography, Angioplasty, Pacemaker insertion&Paediatric Cardiology services like device closure, etc.will be performed at nominal cost.Additional services like electrophysiological studies  are also planned in near future.

Free services will be provided to needy patients from Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh & Andhra Pradeshunder MJPJAY and PMJAY schemes.Cardiac services will be active 24 x 7 with maximal benefit to all patients.
