Organised by department of Radiodiagnosis NKPSIMS and RC & LMH Nagpur in association with MSBIRIA, MCR and VIDRAD was conducted on 23-25th September 2022.

Dr.Kajal M.itra (Dean NKPSIMS), Dr.Avinash Dhok (Prof and HOD  Department of Radiodiagnosis ), Dr. Prashant Onkar (Professor), Dr Suresh Phatak (Professor), Dr. Ashish Ambhore (Assistant Professor), and Junior residents of radiology department were present.

Presenters for the workshop were Dr. Prashant Onkar (Associate professor) and Dr.Varsha Rangankar  (Guest Speaker).

The activities and highlights

The workshop was conducted for introducing the post graduate students and practicing radiologists the techniques of Color Doppler. Special emphasis was laid upon the arterial and venous Doppler of upper and lower limbs, Doppler study of Carotid artery and Renal artery.

Workshop was inaugurated by seeking divine blessings and lightening of the lamp by the hands of Dr.Kajal Mitra Sir (Dean NKPSIMS), Dr.Avinash Dhok (Prof and HOD  Department of Radiodiagnosis) and Dr.Varsha Rangankar (Guest Speaker).

A series of presentations and live demonstrations with  detailed  description  on  Doppler study of the Carotid artery and Upper limb arterial Doppler were conducted on the 23rd of September. These were followed by a hands on workshop for the delegates on volunteer subjects.

On 24th September (Day 2) and 25^th September (Day 3), a series presentations and live demonstrations were conducted on upper limb venous Doppler, Renal Doppler, Portal Doppler and lower limb arterial and venous Doppler. These too were followed by hands on workshops to provide a holistic grasp of concepts of color Doppler.

The workshop concluded by a case discussion session by faculty.

All the faculty members and junior residents worked hard for the success of the program.
