Quarantine Centre Duties
Teams of Senior doctors, Residents and Interns from various departments have been posted to collect swabs from COVID 19 suspected cases, from various quarantine centres across the city. They are continuing to do their duties sincerely
Salute to COVID Warriors by Mahindra & Mahindra, Nagpur
Mr Shrikant Dube, Plant Head, Mahindra & Mahindra, Nagpur donated face shields to NKPSIMS & RC and LMH as a gesture of appreciation for the efforts and contribution of the hospital in fighting against COVID-19, on 27/04/2020
Donation of disposable items by IMA for COVID-19 Health workers of our Institute
4th May 2020, IMA Nagpur chapter donated 300 each of N 95 masks, face shields and hand sanitizers. Dr Y S Deshpande, Past President IMA Maharashtra State, handed over the material to DrKajalMitra, Dean NKP Salve Institute of Medical Scienses& Research Centre and LataMangeshkar Hospital. DrAniruddhaDeoke, Professor PSM and Joint Secretary IMA coordinated the event in the presence of DrKhushJhunjhunwala President IMA, DrManjushaGiri Secretary IMA and DrRafat Khan Joint Secretary IMA.
Donation of PPE kits by Rotary Club of Nagpur
On 9th August 2020, Rotary Club of Nagpur donated 50 PPE kits for the COVID- 19 Health workers of our Institute. The kits were handed over to Dr Ashish Deshmukh, working chairman VSPMAHE and Dr Kajal Mitra, Dean NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, by Rotarian Sandeep Dhodapkar, President Rotary Club of Nagpur, Rtn Parag Date, Secretary RCN and Rtn Dr Anil Masand, Director Medical Committee, RCN. Rtn Vishal Bhatia coordinated with Mr Rajeev Puri of BKT Tyres to arrange for the PPE kits donation. Also present on the occasion were Dr Raju Wilkinson, Dr Sabiha Maimoon, Dr Shubhada Gade, Dr Anne Wilkinson, and Dr Kalpana Date.
