Col Gurmeet singh serving with the Armed forces medical services since Jan 1999.  Served with
an Infantry battalion as Regimental medical officer in high altitude  and counter insurgency
areas and have done  MS in General Surgery from the prestigious Army hospital research and
referral New Delhi. Thereafter have served in numerous field hospitals and military hospitals as
a General Surgeon. Also  served in two important peace keeping missions in Sudan (UNMIS)
and Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) with Indian Field hospitals in United Nations
missions. Presently he is serving as Senior Registrar and Officer Commanding of a border static
hospital
