On the occasion of World Parkinson’s Day, Department of General Medicine held a program on 12^th April 2024 for raising awareness about Parkinson’s disease. It was organised by the Head of Unit, Dr. Y. V. Bansod and the entire unit 7team. The chief guests for the event, respected Dr. Dhanorkar (Medical Superintendent of LMH, Nagpur), Dr. Tanuja Manohar (Head of Department, General Medicine),                   Dr. Ketan Chaturvedi  (Neurologist) and Dr. Deshpande (Principle of Physiotherapy) graced the occasion and gave valuable information regarding the importance of celebrating this day from their perspective. Printed posters and audio-visual presentation were made by the team to display the clinical features and management to help convey the message to the patients, their relatives as well as students. The event was a success and completed its goal of raising awareness about Parkinson’s disease among the general public
