World Blood Donor’s  Day  on 14 th June 2023 , was celebrated with traditional fervor by NKPSIMS & R.C and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital Blood Centre in association with Dental student council & NSS. Activities of blood donation , Poster & Slogan Competition for students,  motivational skits by students and residents ,  felicitation of regular donors & camp organizers were carried out.

Motivational skits were performed by Dental first year students & Residents of Dept. of Pathology in front of billing counter.

After inauguration by lamp lighting, the event started by the introduction of the event by Dr. Mrunalini Khobragade Wankhede,  B.T.O.                                                        

 All the GUESTS released copies of Version 2 of STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES OF LMH BLOOD CENTRE authored by Dr. Mrunalini Khobragade Wankhede,  B.T.O. ,book release was conducted by  Dr. Sabiha Maimoon , HOD , Pathology.     

Hon’ble Dean , NKPSIMS & RC ,Dr. Kajal Mitra , stressed on voluntary blood donation and congratulated the staff & students for their participation.

Hon’ble Dean VSPMDC, Dr.Usha Radke, encouraged & complimented the staff & students for  their participation in activities of voluntary blood donation.                                         

Regular Donors & Camp organizers  were felicitated by awarding mementos & certificates by  the ESTEEMED GUESTS.     

Winners of POSTER & SLOGAN COMPETITION, were awarded  cash prizes & certificates.
