Guest Lecture on Organ Donation
IQAC, NKPSIMS & RC and LMH arranged a guest lecture on “ORGAN DONATION” on 21 st June 22, at Harmony Hall. The speaker for the topic was Dr. Vibhawari Dani, President Zonal Transplant Transportation Centre, Ex-Dean Govt. Medical College, Nagpur. Dr. Mohana Majumdar, Director IQAC briefed about the topic. Dean, NKPSIMS & RC and LMH Dr. Kajal Mitra emphasized the need of organ donation. Total 85 participants attended the lecture. The speaker elaborated about the criteria for donating organs and the procedure of organ transportation. She motivated the audience for organ donation and stressed to spread the message in society. She also informed the statistics of the requirement and total number of the transplants done in Nagpur district. The event ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Arti Kasulkar, Secretary IQAC.
