On 2/08/22 as a part of intern’s education curriculum, Diabetes awareness programme was conducted at RHTC, Katol under international diabetes federation’s 2022 theme “education to protect tomorrow”. Interns of LMH presented posters for diabetes awareness while medicine resident Dr. Akshay Darak discussed common rural misconceptions, role of exercise and diet along with complications of diabetes in all age groups. Activity was attended by patients and relatives along with nursing staff and medical officer Dr. Rupal Darak.
