“Basics of Laparohysteroscopy” a hands on diagnostic hysteroscopy and laparoscopy workshop, was organized on 9 th and 10 th of July 2022 by Department of OBGY NKP Salve Institute of medical sciences and Research Centre at Gynaec OT lata Mangeshkar hospital .

The program was organized for Gynaec surgeons (including those outside institute) and postgraduate students in Obstetrics and gynecology . The workshop was much appreciated under the able guidance of organizing chairperson , Professor and Head department of OBGY NKPSIMS Dr. Anuja Bhalerao. Workshop was successful with immense support of Dr. Anjali Bhure , Professor and Head Department of anaesthesia. Gyne OT Incharge Dr. Sumiita Bhargav, with her team ensured safe and sound anaesthesia to all patients. Sister incharge Gynaec OT Mrs Mala with her team supported smooth functioning of OT. Organizing secretary Dr. Prachi Dixit with whole team of OBGY, NKPSIMS worked hard for success of program.

Small Inaugration ceremony was held in presence of Dr. Anuja Bhalerao HOD OBGY, Dr. Sumita Bhargav Head of Gyne OT anaesthesia, Mrs Mala , Sister Incharge Gynaec OT, Dr.Yamini Kale and Dr. Sanjana sainani guest faculty and Dr. Prachi Dixit Organizing secretary for the workshop.

The Guest operating faculty of the workshop were Dr. Yamini Kale and Dr. Sanjana Sainani. The delegates were shown the setup and functioning of a laparoscopic and hysteroscopic unit , assisted the primary surgeons and were oriented towards hand eye coordination. Both the guest faculty were proficient in teaching the tips and tricks to all delegates. Interactive lectures on basics of laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and energy sources were taken by Dr. Prachi Dixit, Dr. Yamini Kale and Dr. Sanjana Sainani.

Program was followed by certificate distribution to all delegates. The feedback received was encouraging . They wanted to attend further such workshops.
